Product Manager, MapAnything Fleet - Charlotte

As the Product Manager for MapAnything Fleet, you will be responsible for the ideation, design, development, and go-to-market strategy of our fleet management suite of products. You will work with multiple internal teams to gather ideas, make design decisions, and build impactful software products. You will serve as product evangelists both internally and externally, communicating the value of MapAnything’s Fleet product suite to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners. You will work closely with external parties to gather feature requirements and translate those into development tasks. Product Managers report to the VP of Product in Charlotte and work extensively with the Product Development team in Atlanta.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and growth of the MapAnything Fleet product suite

  • Effectively communicate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and testers to turn high level objectives into discrete user stories to be built, tested, and deployed as new features

  • Manage the product development lifecycle and own product roadmaps and timeline

  • Work with developers, testers, and product support to release new features in the market and support existing features

  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans on new products

  • Serve as the product liaison to C-level executives to both existing and potential customers

  • Understand, exercise, and actively advance best practices in product management, design and development

  • Actively contribute to our team's culture of having fun, constantly improving, and delivering impactful software

Desired Attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience related to telematics, fleet management, or fleet maintenance

  • At least 1 year experience in software design and development in roles such as Product Manager, Business Analyst, Product Marketer, User Experience Designer, or Software Developer

  • Understanding of fleet management ecosystem and related market trends and regulations

  • Experience writing feature requirements/user stories and managing a software development lifecycle

  • Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team

  • Experience working with B2B SaaS products and companies is highly beneficial and preferred

  • Self-starter, accustomed to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, who enjoys and takes pride in technical solution delivery
