SMB Solutions Engineer:

MapAnything’s SMB Solutions Engineers are the go-to technical product experts when it comes time to demonstrate to clients how our products work and, more specifically, how they solve each customer’s unique business needs. SMB SE’s leverage their superb MapAnything and Salesforce product knowledge to assist SMB Account Executives in converting interested potential customers into long-standing clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand each customer’s unique sales goals and execute tailored in-person product presentations and/or web demonstrations of MapAnything’s software capabilities to C-level executives, directors, and sales managers of small and medium sized clients
  • Pair with Account Executives to position MapAnything’s applications as the ideal product to solve the customer’s complex business challenges during product demonstrations and technical deep-dive calls
  • Establish technical credibility and professional rapport with client account stakeholders
  • Become an expert in all MapAnything applications while maintaining a very high proficiency in the Salesforce platform
  • Regularly engage with sales and product development teams to provide product and client feedback and identify opportunities to further improve our products, sales/implementation processes, and overall customer experience



  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Engineering, Technical Sales and/or Product Support
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related fields
  • Prior experience using Salesforce as a power user or admin
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Polished presentations skills, both in-person and over-the-web
  • Advanced problem solving skills and ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues
  • Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting
