Pledge 1% is a commitment by companies to improve the world. Started by Marc Benioff, and expanded to other companies, the pledge is an oath to improve the communities we live by donating 1% of employees time, 1% of our profits and 1% of equity to causes we support.

MapAnything is committed to providing work and learning opportunities to local youth to help prepare them for the jobs of the future. We hosted 12 local, high school interns in Summer 2017 across multiple departments from Product to Finance to Sales Operations. We will continue to host interns as a part of the Mayor’s Youth Employment Program and hope to host even more!
In 2016, MapAnything CEO John Stewart and a group of his employees founded Minorities in Tech. This nonprofit provides a gateway for minority & women students & professionals into the tech industry. Minorities in Tech partners with Charlotte Housing Authority, CMS, & other organizations to provide free career training programs to the community in Salesforce, web design & development, and software sales.
On the eve of Equal Pay Day - Humanitarian and Sports Icon Billie Jean King, Equal Pay for Equal Work Activist Lilly Ledbetter, Academy Award Winner and Activist Patricia Arquette, and nine-time Grammy Award-Winning Singer and Philanthropist Mary J. MapAnything provides location services for Salesforce data, and it was Salesforce, a founding partner of Pledge 1%, that inspired the tech company to subscribe to the 1-1-1 philosophy. MapAnything, having already contributed 1% of its technology and 1% of its people, recently announced its intention to pledge 1% of equity in its company to Foundation For The Carolinas.
