HR Generalist - Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a HR professional who can make an immediate impact to the practices and processes within our MapAnything team.  The HR Generalist serves as front line support to our business leaders and employees providing consultation, coaching and guidance in employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, policies and procedures, organization development and compensation and benefits. This position will specifically support our core business units in the recruitment and onboarding of exceptional Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Client Solutions candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with full-cycle responsibilities, including recruiting and staffing all necessary departments; including, but not limited to, posting jobs, conducting phone screens, setting up in-house interviews with managers, creating offer letters, processing employment documentation, etc

  • Act as resource to managers and employees on a wide variety of human resources topics including benefits, medical leave, pay-related topics, and act as a trusted resource to the company leadership team

  • Partner with the Director of Human Resources to create fun, informative, and impactful new employee training and ongoing education programs

  • Oversee the onboarding and new-hire compliance for all new employees who join the MapAnything team, including New Hire Orientation, training, benefits administration, equipment setup, etc

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining performance review process and feedback programs

  • Help create and kick off fun company-wide team building events and company outings

What “Leads” To Success:

  • Degree in a Business Related field

  • 2+ years of HR experience including onboarding, recruiting, and compliance

  • Knowledge in HR policies and topics including onboarding compliance (paperwork, E-Verify, drug/background testing, etc.), employee issue resolution, health benefits, FMLA, EEO compliance, and a variety of other HR areas

  • An inextinguishable passion for building and empowering company culture

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others in a technology environment

Preferred:

  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP

  • Strong recruiting experience
