Enterprise Account Executive - Sydney, AU

The MapAnything General Manager   of Sales is a highly qualified position in strategy, planning and sales operations. The selected candidate is expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and customer strategies, along with accountability  for driving the continued success in the APAC market. This sales leader will be responsible for developing targeted sales approaches for this international market with a rigorous approach, overall operational plans, coaching and development of the assigned sales team, and delivering on strategic business objectives  in the long-term, such as, new business development, emerging sales channels, flawless operational execution and resource management.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve APAC Sales Revenue, Margin, and Profit targets through strategic coordination, functional management, and leadership of all APAC sales channels and activities

  • Develop and execute  the regions strategic plan and operating plan in coordination with MapAnything Inc. long term strategic plan

  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Development of the team, including recruiting, hiring and training new account executives on the sales process

  • Ensures sales tools are utilized to maximum advantage in the marketplace for positioning and cultivation sales opportunities

  • Engaging at the C-level in enterprise customer organizations ensuring adherence to cultural norms, customs, laws and regulations

  • Drive rigorous sales execution and oversight, ensuring accurate reporting and total transparency of sales activity and  forecasts to sales team and senior management

  • Coordinate with the marketing teams to ensure effective and appropriate product and promotional mix

  • Coaching direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins

  • Ensure appropriate sales, product and service training is executed and meets the regions customer and industry trends.

  • Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results

  • Develop and execute successful sales campaigns

  • Work with technical counterparts to developed compelling tailored proposals that meet MapAnything’s client’s need

  • Engaging at the C-level in enterprise customer organizations

What “Leads” To Success:

  • Strong experience in sales strategy or equivalent function with significant exposure to sales teams, OR experience in management consulting with strong exposure to B2B go-to-market strategy

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field  or 10 years of work related experience.

  • Significant hands-on sales experience with Enterprise Level

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team

  • Very strong executive presence and engagement skills

  • Highly collaborative style with strong influencing  skills

  • Adept with financial modeling and tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the APAC market - Preferred

  • Technical competency  with GIS, SFDC, MapAnything and Enterprise Software

  • Experience working with a growing SaaS company

  • Working with SalesForce Eco-System required
