Thank you, Veterans - We’re Here to Help

Happy Veterans Day - 2018

Today is a chance for us all, as Americans, to unite in our love for this country and rally around our service men and women. As a former US Air Force enlisted member, this day has always had a profound impact on me. Not only does it provide an opportunity to reflect on my own experiences in the military, but also those of the brave men and women who stood by my side and continue to fight for us today. It is on their behalf that I write this.

A unique opportunity exists for us right now, to set aside our differences and band together. We must find a way to ensure that our veterans and their families are supported and cared for once they come home.

Whether you volunteer your personal time and/or resources with ground-breaking organizations like Wounded Warrior Project or Operation Homefront, or you happen to work for a company that makes regular donations to the Veteran cause, the ways to give back are abundant.

I am very fortunate to work for MapAnything and grateful for the work we’ve done and continue to do for our veterans. From making a concerted effort to hire and train veteran professionals, to working with fantastic programs like the Merivis Foundation, MapAnything strives to provide veterans with fulfilling careers and contribute to the financial backing they need.

Right now, we’re very proud to have eight military veterans on our team.

Being an aircrewman, my fondest memories were whenever we were flying. Being in the helicopter, tracking subs or on-route to a possible water rescue, is incredibly exciting. Plus the feeling of being part of the greatest military in the world gives you a great sense of accomplishment.
