Proximity Center

Register for MAU 301 on December 13 - 11 AM

We'll be reviewing MapAnything proximity centers, which will help you plan and segment for the new year even more effectively.

Can you believe it's already December? It's the most wonderful time of the year! And by that, I mean the busiest time of the year. But fear not, MapAnything's geo-productivity tools are here year-round to help you stay on top of your to-do list and reach your year-end goals.

For some teams, December brings big territory shake ups. For others, it marks the time to solidify strategic plans for the new year. No matter the situation, whether you're getting acquainted with a new market or planning an event in an unfamiliar city, MapAnything can help you make the most of your time before everyone starts wrapping up for the holidays.

On Wednesday, December 13, during our MapAnything 301 course, I’ll be reviewing proximity centers, which will help you plan and segment even more effectively. Specifically, this feature allows any MapAnything user to draw a shape around any plotted Salesforce record or point-of-interest, and see what other accounts, contacts, or leads are nearby. You can even change the dimensions of your shape to reflect travel time or travel distance to get a better understanding of exactly how close nearby records are to your central location.

During the course, I'll show you how to plot a Proximity Center on the map in just three clicks and modify it to fit your unique needs. We'll also discuss how setting a proximity center can help solve MapAnything users address three real-world business challenges:

Marketing and Event Planning

Example scenario: Our company's annual trade show is next month, and we are behind on our registration goals. How can we target customers within two hours of the event and send them a reminder to register?

Inside Sales

Example scenario: My field sales partner and I just added a new market to our territory. She is planning a trip to visit our biggest customer in this market and asked me to help fill her calendar with additional meetings. How can I pull a call list of customers within 50 miles of her first meeting and start scheduling more appointments?

Outside Sales

Example scenario: I'm new to my company, and making my first trip out into my new territory. One of my appointments just cancelled on me, leaving me with a two hour gap in my day. I know I have other customers nearby that I could call to schedule a last-minute visit with. How can I find my customers and prospects within 30 minutes of me so I don't waste any time on this trip?

We’ll explore all these and more this Wednesday at 11 a.m. EST! I hope you’ll join me.
